A digital government report states that the golden visa permits selected foreign nationals who are already in the UAE or who intend to visit to live, work, invest, and study there permanently. They can take advantage of special perks and can do so without the need for a host or guarantor.Investors, entrepreneurs, talent, scientists, specialists, early learners and grads, trailblazing humanitarians, and those serving in the front line of defense are among the groups eligible for visas.

According to the report, the UAE government introduced the Golden Residency program to allow holders of long-term stays to live in the nation without the requirement for a guarantor. Depending on the category, the Golden Residency can be obtained for a duration of five or ten years.

Seven exclusive benefits available only to Gold Residency holders

The digital government has identified seven exclusive benefits that are only available to holders of gold residency. These benefits include: a multi-entry visa that allows you to enter the country multiple times in order to complete the Golden residency procedures; a 5- or 10-year renewable residence visa; the ability to stay outside of the United Arab Emirates for periods longer than six months; the elimination of the need for a guarantor while inside the country; the ability to issue residence permits to foreign family members, such as husband and children; no upper limit on the number of support service workers that can be hired; and the ability for family members to remain in the nation in the event of the gold residency holder's death.

Conditions for obtaining a golden residence visa

According to the digital government report, the prerequisites for the Golden Residence Visa vary depending on the applicant's classification, such as talents, investors, or entrepreneurs.

If a person invests in a public investment fund, they can get a golden residence visa for ten years without the need for a guarantor as long as they bring three documents: a valid commercial or industrial license with the company's memorandum of association indicating that the capital invested in it is at least AED two million; a letter from the Federal Tax Authority confirming that he is the owner or partner of an enterprise that pays taxes to the government and that his share contribution to the tax is at least AED two hundred thousand each year; and a letter from the Federal Tax Authority confirming that he is the owner or partner of a business that pays taxes to the government.

In order for it to be considered a loan, he must additionally have the entire capital and show proof of your family's and your health insurance (if any).

After meeting the requirements, owners of one or more properties are eligible to apply for a renewable five-year Golden residency visa, which comes with the same conditions and doesn't require a guarantor.

An entrepreneur who owns a technological or futuristic economic firm built on risk and innovation may be eligible to apply for a five-year golden residency visa.

The goal of the Golden Residency service

According to her, the goal of the Golden Residence's comprehensive service is to bring people together by reducing distances through integrated packages that allow for the completion of all necessary steps in one go, including applying for candidacy, getting a visa, resolving issues, obtaining residence and identity documents, and possibly even renewing them.
