Abu Dhabi Police Launch a New Initiative with a 35% Discount on Traffic Fines

asmaa - | Arab News

Abu Dhabi Police have recently rolled out the “Badir and Benefit” initiative, aimed at encouraging drivers to promptly settle their traffic violations through a range of incentives and discounts.

Abu Dhabi Police Launches “Badir and Benefit” Initiative

This initiative is part of the police force's strategic commitment to enhancing community satisfaction by providing proactive and efficient public services.

The initiative offers two distinct options for motorists. Firstly, a substantial 35% discount is available on traffic fines if paid within 60 days of the violation, excluding serious offenses. Secondly, a 25% discount applies for payments made between 60 days and up to one year from the violation date. Additionally, drivers can opt to pay their fines in installments over a 12-month period with zero interest, facilitated through participating banks that have partnered with Abu Dhabi Police General Command.

According to statements from Abu Dhabi Police, the “Badir and Benefit” initiative aims to streamline the process of settling traffic fines, thereby motivating vehicle owners to address violations promptly. This proactive approach not only simplifies financial obligations but also seeks to raise awareness among drivers about the advantages of early payment. By availing themselves of this initiative, drivers can avoid escalating fines and the accumulation of further violations, contributing to improved road safety and compliance.

Abu Dhabi Police’s commitment

The initiative underscores Abu Dhabi Police’s commitment to fostering a culture of responsibility and compliance on the roads. By offering attractive discounts and convenient payment plans, they aim to incentivize drivers to adhere to traffic regulations more effectively. This strategic initiative is aligned with broader efforts to enhance traffic management and ensure a safer environment for all road users across the emirate.

In practical terms, the “Badir and Benefit” initiative represents a significant step towards enhancing administrative efficiency within the realm of traffic management. It not only facilitates easier access to payment options but also promotes a proactive approach to resolving traffic violations promptly. Through collaboration with banking partners, Abu Dhabi Police have made it more convenient for drivers to manage their financial obligations while emphasizing the importance of timely compliance with traffic laws.

By promoting early settlement of traffic fines through discounted rates and flexible payment arrangements, Abu Dhabi Police are actively engaging with the community to improve overall satisfaction with their services. This initiative not only benefits individual motorists but also contributes to the broader goal of achieving a more orderly and compliant traffic environment throughout Abu Dhabi.

The “Badir and Benefit” initiative by Abu Dhabi Police signifies a proactive response to the evolving needs of the community, particularly in managing traffic violations efficiently and fairly. Beyond its immediate benefits of discounts and installment options, the initiative serves as an educational tool, raising awareness about the importance of traffic law compliance and the consequences of delayed payments. By promoting responsible behavior among drivers and offering practical solutions to financial obligations, Abu Dhabi Police are reinforcing their commitment to public safety and enhancing the overall quality of transportation services in the emirate.
