Do you belong to the group of people who are extremely busy and lack the time to attend for a medical examination required for the renewal of your resident visa? Don't worry.
In Dubai, foreigners can get their medical testing done in the convenience of their own homes. With the debut of the "Medical Examination Doorstep service" by VFS Global and AMH, foreign nationals in Dubai who hold a UAE residency visa can now complete their medical examination without having to go to a specific medical facility.
Through VFS Global, the Medical Examination Doorstep service will be offered as a premium option. This service is only intended for people with Category A visas who want to extend their residency permits.
It is an optional supplement to the clinics' regular medical checkup services.
The partnership aligns with Emirates Health Services' (EHS) goal of service expansion.
Clients can schedule appointments for medical examinations online or offline from the comfort of their homes or workplaces.
Documents required
- Copies of the passport, residence permit, and visa.
- One passport-sized photo with a white background (the photo cannot be older than three months).
- Copying an Emirates ID process.
On the VFS Global website, go to the "Medical Examination At Your Doorstep" option.
An email with a payment link will be sent to you following the completion of a brief online form and the uploading of any necessary documents.
The VFS Global staff will take care of application processing and arrange for a seamless service delivery at the customer's selected location—their home or office—

- Cost of the Category A medical test: Dh 261.86.
- Filling Out Medical Forms: Dh52.
- Service Fee for VFS: Dh110.
- Service at the door: Dh426.15; total: Dh850.01.
Launching the medical examination service
We are excited to launch the Medical Examination Doorstep service as part of our expanded cooperation with AMH. This program embodies the EHS's vision for a more seamless and accessible healthcare system and ideally coincides with VFS Global's mission to provide great customer experiences. Two actual Medical Examination Centers for EHS are run by VFS Global and are situated in Dragon Mart 2 and Ibn Battuta Mall.
