Daily flights enhance connectivity.
Etihad Airways has strategically expanded its services by initiating daily non-stop flights from Abu Dhabi to Kozhikode and Thiruvananthapuram, effective January 1, 2024. This move represents a significant enhancement of the airline's footprint in the Indian market, contributing to improved connectivity for travelers.
A total of 10 destinations in India
With the inclusion of Kozhikode and Thiruvananthapuram, Etihad Airways is now serving a total of 10 destinations across India. This milestone demonstrates the airline's commitment to fostering accessibility and connectivity for passengers traveling to and from India.
Strategic Resumptions and Increased Frequencies
In the previous year, Etihad Airways strategically reintroduced services to Kolkata, strategically positioning itself to seamlessly connect eastern India with global destinations. Simultaneously, the airline increased service frequencies on high-demand routes, such as Mumbai and Delhi, from two flights per day to an impressive four flights per day to meet the growing travel demands.
Exciting plans for 2024
Looking forward to 2024, Etihad Airways has ambitious plans that reflect its dedication to global connectivity. On March 31, the airline will launch new flights to Boston, USA, followed by the addition of Nairobi, Kenya, to its network on May 1. The summer schedule will feature a groundbreaking non-stop service to Nice, France, along with direct flights to the picturesque Greek islands of Mykonos and Santorini. These expansions underscore Etihad's strategic approach to identifying key markets and catering to diverse travel preferences.
