Dubai's Global Village has adjusted its operating hours in anticipation of its impending closure.
The renowned festival park recently announced extended hours for its final three days, from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. The park, which had originally planned to end its 28th season on April 28, has extended its run for an extra week, ending on May 5.
As part of its efforts to attract visitors, especially families, Global Village has introduced a new initiative allowing children under 12 years old to enter free of charge. This move is in line with a wider campaign that aims to improve accessibility and inclusivity.
Visitors to the park have the option to choose between two ticket types: 'Value' tickets, which are applicable from Sunday to Thursday, and 'Any Day' tickets, offering flexibility for use on any day of the week, including weekends and public holidays. The price of entry tickets for online or app bookings is Dh22.50 for 'Value' tickets and Dh27 for 'Any Day' tickets.
This extension of operating hours and the introduction of a child-friendly entry policy are strategic measures aimed at maximizing attendance and engagement during the final days of the season. Global Village continues to be a popular destination for residents and tourists alike, offering a diverse range of cultural experiences, entertainment, and shopping opportunities.
For those planning a visit to Global Village, staying informed about the latest updates and developments is crucial, and be aware of any changes to operating hours, promotions, or special events.
Global Village's decision to extend its operating hours and introduce new entry policies underscores its commitment to providing an enjoyable and accessible experience for visitors of all ages.
