The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship and Customs in the UAE announced the new conditions for obtaining a one-year, renewable work visa for self-employed individuals who wish to live and settle in the UAE.

Requirements for obtaining a virtual work visa in the UAE
- Proof of work outside the UAE.
- A bank statement for the last six months proving a deposit or monthly income of no less than 3,500 US dollars, which is approximately 12,855.53 UAE dirhams, or its equivalent in other currencies.
Documents required for a virtual work visa
1- A passport valid for at least 6 months.

3- A valid health insurance policy.
4- Proof of virtual work outside the UAE.
5- Salary certificate worth 3,500 US dollars.
6- A notarized certificate of good conduct and behavior.

How to apply for a virtual work visa?
It is worth noting that you will obtain an entry permit to the UAE after you apply for this visa, and the entry permit allows you to stay for 60 days in the UAE, until you complete the residency procedures, which include many procedures, including the medical fitness text, in addition to the Yasat for vitality, and issuing Emirates residency ID.
You can apply for a virtual work visa in the UAE, through the Authority’s official electronic services platform via the following link smartservices.icp.gov.ae, then click on virtual work, specify the category of virtual work worker, issue a new visa, and click on “Start.” the service".
You will then be transferred to the application form, and you must fill in the details of the applicant’s information, where you must enter your name in Arabic and English, your email, and your mobile phone number.
Also enter personal information, such as nationality, date of birth, religion, marital status, academic qualification, company department, profession, monthly income, and passport details.
Provide an address within the United Arab Emirates
