On May 18, Expo 2020 Dubai Museum will greet visitors with complimentary entry, coinciding with International Museum Day. This museum offers an immersive journey into the Expo 2020 Dubai narrative, providing a glimpse behind the scenes.
During May 18 and 19, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy free access to both the new museum and the city's three Stories of Nations exhibitions. Additionally, they will receive a generous 50 percent discount on all other attractions, including Alif, Terra, the Women’s and Vision Pavilions, and the Garden in the Sky. Designed to captivate audiences with its mix of multimedia displays and interactive features, the Expo 2020 Dubai Museum caters to visitors of all ages.
Among its highlights are sections dedicated to recounting the UAE's initial involvement in World Expos during the 1970s, the inception and bidding process for Expo 2020, the intricacies of masterplan design and site construction, the unprecedented challenges posed by the pandemic and subsequent postponement, the grand opening ceremony, and the six-month-long event itself.
Furthermore, the museum will pay homage to World Expos' enduring impacts and ongoing legacy. For those eager to delve deeper into the Expo 2020 experience, guided tours are available every 30 minutes.
Situated in the Opportunity District, the museum also boasts a souvenir shop where visitors can acquire Expo 2020 memorabilia, along with the opportunity to expand their collection of country stamps in Expo 'passports'. Additionally, guests can explore the Expo 2020 library and make use of rentable meeting spaces. Starting May 20, the museum will be included in Expo City’s one-day Attractions Pass, priced at AED 120. Alternatively, visitors can opt for a combined ticket granting access to both the Expo 2020 Museum and the three Stories of Nations exhibits, priced at Dh50 for individuals aged 12 and above and Dh40 for children aged 4 to 11.
