Flights Between Jeddah and Baghdad
In collaboration with the Saudi Air Connectivity Program (ACP), Flynas has taken this initiative to reinstate flight operations to Baghdad, further expanding its presence in Iraq. The inaugural flight commenced on September 1, 2023.
Flynas Expands Regional Connectivity
Flynas currently offers three weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays between Baghdad and Jeddah, allowing travelers to take advantage of the ease of direct flights. By improving air connectivity between Iraq and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, this schedule gives travelers additional options for where to go.
The introduction of this air route is expected to fortify commercial ties, attract increased foreign investments to both nations, and facilitate transportation for tourists and Umrah pilgrims traveling between these two Arab countries.
Earlier in the year, Flynas had introduced a weekly direct flight service between Erbil and Jeddah, operating on Wednesdays and Sundays. This expansion of routes underscores Flynas' commitment to providing increased travel options for passengers in the region.
The resumption of regular flights between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Iraq has been made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Saudi-Iraqi Coordination Council and their support. This step signifies a significant development in enhancing regional connectivity and economic cooperation between the two nations.
