According to General Entertainment Authority (GEA) chairman Turki Al-Sheikh, an astounding 18 million people from all over the world have visited the 4th Riyadh Season.
The original goal of 12 million people to attend this entertainment extravaganza, which began in October, was much exceeded by the time it reached the halfway mark early last month.
Under the theme "Big Time," the festival showcased a plethora of remarkable recreational events, notably a historic showdown dubbed "The Fiercest Man on Earth." This monumental event pitted heavyweight boxing world champion Tyson Fury against former mixed martial arts champion Francis Ngannou inside the renowned Riyadh Arena.
The "Wonder Garden," a massive movable amusement park covering more than 500,000 square meters, was unveiled at this year's Riyadh Season. In addition to imaginative rides based on fairy tales, such as Little Crazy, it provided families with state-of-the-art worldwide entertainment experiences. Everyone was welcome at the charming Little Crazy Café, where they might lose themselves in a world straight out of a fairy tale.
In addition, there is The Groves, a brand new 35,000-square-meter retail and entertainment zone with stores and restaurants. One of the most sought-after spots during Riyadh Season, The Groves first opened to the public in 2021. Hawanim Groves City introduced a variety of brand-new activities, foods, and experiences that drew from Arab culture.
Furthermore, the Riyadh season included the establishment of the first boxing sports club in partnership with world champion Mike Tyson, aimed at discovering and nurturing talents globally. The event also featured numerous concerts by prominent Gulf, Arab, and international artists, a diverse array of plays, and 21 new experiences catering to individuals of all age groups.
