This initiative is aimed at outstanding Emirati students who aspire to complete their academic journey at prestigious international universities. The program, which will run from June 1 to June 30, 2024, seeks to cultivate a new generation of Emirati diplomats equipped with the highest standards of education and training.

It aims to provide students with the necessary skills and competencies to become pioneers and changemakers in the UAE's foreign policy. Application Requirements
Those interested in applying for the program are advised to visit the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ website at https://www.mofa.gov.ae/ar-ae/scholarship to review the required documents and application conditions. Applicants must be citizens of the United Arab Emirates, holding an Emirati passport and family book. They should be between 17 and 22 years old, have their guardian's approval, and possess a certificate of good conduct from relevant authorities. Additionally, applicants need to have a high school diploma with a minimum average of 90% or its equivalent and an English language proficiency certificate (6.5 Academic IELTS or equivalent). They must also have received academic acceptance from a university on the Ministry’s approved list of institutions and specializations. Students are required to agree to study a third language if requested, commit to working in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for a period equivalent to their years of study, and agree to enter the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy after graduation. Male applicants must provide a certificate of exemption or completion of national service.
The admissions process includes a series of tests and interviews. Once accepted, students will go through three stages to become Emirati diplomats. The first stage involves studying abroad to obtain a bachelor's degree. This is followed by enrolling in the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy to earn a postgraduate diploma specializing in Emirati diplomacy and international relations. The final stage is employment at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where they will be appointed to the diplomatic corps upon fulfilling all graduation requirements.
