According to the General Administration of Education in Riyadh, the percentage of government school buildings has climbed to 96%, while the number of rented structures has been reduced to 92 schools.
This followed the opening and functioning of the new schools as part of the ongoing preparations for the start of the new academic year 1445 AH.
In Riyadh, the General Administration of Education opened 95 schools and kindergartens for boys and girls, accommodating over 40,000 students. These schools and kindergartens comprise 47 kindergartens, 11 early childhood schools, 17 primary schools, 12 intermediate schools, and 8 high schools.
Dr. Nayef bin Abed Al-Zari, Director General of Education in Riyadh, complimented the boundless and continual support for the wise leadership of education, as well as its constant eagerness to build an educational environment for male and female students, administrative and educational cadres.He expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the Riyadh region's Emir and his deputy. For their eagerness and consistent follow-up in receiving and preparing school buildings, and for the Minister of Education's role and eagerness to offer a school atmosphere that fosters creativity and innovation.
Dr. Al-Zaraa also stated that the proportion of government school buildings increased to 96 percent, while the number of rented buildings that were dispensed with reached 92 schools following the inauguration and operation of the new schools, pointing out that the new buildings benefited over 40,000 male and female students, including 47 kindergartens, 11 early childhood schools, 17 primary schools, and 12 schools
