Saudi citizen who enticed a child and committed adultery with him in the east was given the death penalty by force, according to the Interior Ministry of Saudi Arabia.
According to a statement released by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Saudi Ministry of Interior announced on Sunday the imposition of a death sentence for one of the offenders in the eastern region after it was established that he was accused of forcingfully engaging in indecency with a minor and threatening to kill him.
"Khalid bin Ahmed bin Khalifa Al-Shaheen, a Saudi national, lured and monitored a juvenile and committed indecency with him by force under the threat of death with a knife, and attempted to commit indecency with another event," the ministry claimed in its statement.
"The security authorities were able to apprehend the aforementioned perpetrator, and the investigation with him resulted in his being accused of committing his crime, and by referring him to the competent court," the statement continued. By carrying out what the law mandated and was backed by its reference, the agency claims.
According to the ministry's final statement, "the death sentence was implemented as a ta'zir punishment for the perpetrator, Khalid bin Ahmed bin Khalifa Al-Shaheen, a Saudi national, on Sunday, 1/26/1445 AH, corresponding to 8/13/2023 AD, in the eastern region."
