Since Eid al Adha 2024 is anticipated to occur in the middle of June, the UAE's next significant national holiday is quickly approaching.
This year, we have observed New Year's Day on January 1 and Eid al Fitr, which began on Monday, April 8, provided a full work week off.
Date of Arafat Day
The Day of Arafat is scheduled for Sunday, June 16, and the Emirates Astronomy Society reports that the next day would usher in a three-day public holiday in the United Arab Emirates.
After New Year's Day and Eid al Fitr, Arafat Day and Eid al Adha will be the third and fourth important public holidays of the year.
Similar to Eid al Fitr, Eid al Adha dates will only be officially published in Dubai based on pertinent Moon sightings.
