The Meteorological Center in the United Arab Emirates expects that the residents of the Emirates will witness more rain in various parts of the country in the next few days, coinciding with the country's transition to the summer season.
Heavy rain falls in the United Arab Emirates
The Meteorological Center explained that rain is expected to be concentrated in a number of southern and western regions in the United Arab Emirates, and the country is expected to witness major weather events in a number of regions in the Emirates in the near future.
Particular rainfall
The UAE experienced intense rains on April 16 and then rain and hail on May 2 and 3, but the expert predicted that there wouldn't be any significant weather events in the foreseeable future.
The weather is clear and partly cloudy
Sunday, May 5, is the day with the highest chance of rain, followed by Monday and Tuesday. There's a slim chance of rain in Dubai and Sharjah. Low pressure is currently moving outside the nation, according to Dr. Ahmed Habib, a weather specialist at the National Center of Meteorology.
In the southern region of the UAE, the interior will see fair to partly cloudy weather at times, while rainfall is expected in the western region near the coast. It is obvious that the development of clouds will result in rain in these regions.
The winter months of December through March typically see average temperatures between 16.4 and 24 degrees Celsius.
Initial transitional stage
"The first phase of the transition, which lasts from April to May, is marked by swift variations in the weather, with most regions experiencing a gradual increase in temperature, with an average of 26 to 33.5 degrees Celsius.”
June to September is summertime, with potentially 50 degree Celsius highs, particularly in the south. Between 32 and 37.2 degrees are the typical temperatures during this time of year.
Spring transition period
"Up until this month, we are in the spring transition period."Thus, low pressure systems could still be able to enter our area from the southeast, north, and southwest, bringing clouds and perhaps even rain. He continued by saying that other elements also have an impact on rain.
North of the equator is where the sun moves. "The northern hemisphere experiences gradual increases in daylight, which causes a gradual rise in air temperature over most of the country," he continued.
"June marks the beginning of summer, and with it, changes to the pressure system that will occur the following month." Dr. Habib stated that summertime brings very little rain, especially in coastal areas, with the exception of areas close to mountains.
