The National Center of Meteorology in the UAE announced in an official statement today through its account on the x platform, about an increase in the chances of rainfall in the UAE, and it is expected to continue starting tomorrow during this week.

The weather tomorrow will be fair to cloudy

The National Center of Meteorology in the UAE announced that the weather tomorrow is expected to be fair to partly cloudy at times, with the possibility of some cumulus clouds forming on the mountains in the afternoon, which may be accompanied by rain.

The National Center added in its official statement, which was published through its official account on the "X" platform, which was formerly known as Twitter, that there will be a gradual rise in temperatures, and that it will be humid at night and Sunday morning in some coastal and inland areas. Additionally, the winds will be light to moderate in speed, and they will be active at times.

The wind will be southeasterly to northeasterly

During its daily announcement, the center said that the winds will be from southeast to northeast, with speeds ranging from 10 to 20 kilometers per hour and exceeding 35 kilometers per hour.

It is expected that the waves in the Arabian Gulf will be rather modest. The first tide will occur at 15:48, the second tide will come at 02:32, the first low tide will occur at 09:21, and the second low tide will occur at 20:09. There will be small waves in the Sea of Oman, and the first tide will be at twelve minutes past the hour, and the first low tide will be at five minutes past the hour.

While it is anticipated that the weather tomorrow, Sunday, will be humid in the morning in some coastal and inland locations, with clear to partly overcast skies at times, there is a possibility that some local cumulonimbus clouds may form in the afternoon in the east and in some inland places.

The largest amount of rain in the history of the UAE

The National Center of Meteorology in the Emirates reported that the amount of rain that fell on the country during the recent exceptional air depression, which was known as the Roaring Depression, was unprecedented. The amount of rain that fell on the country during this depression was 6.04 billion cubic meters at a rate of 99.6 millimeters per hour, and it hit the country between April 14 and April 17.

It was confirmed by the Center that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) got the highest percentage of rainfall in its contemporary history, and it is the largest since the beginning of recording climate data in the year 1949. This achievement was achieved in several parts of the UAE.

The Dubai International Airport, on the other hand, is gradually restoring to full capacity and its customary flight schedule. Emirates Airlines has said that it would resume all of its scheduled flights to their normal timetable.

Immediately after the wave of heavy rain that fell on several parts of the country, Dubai Airports made an announcement that they would be resuming travel processes for customers departing from Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport for aircraft operated by Emirates Airlines and Flydubai.

Huge destruction caused by recent storms

Following previous storms that caused widespread destruction in the United Arab Emirates, the nation is currently making preparations for additional wet conditions that are expected to begin on Monday. In terms of both frequency and severity, these storms set new records for rainfall.

Within the preceding seventy-five years, this rainfall event set a new record for the United Arab Emirates. The United Arab Emirates, which is often characterized by a dry environment, saw a rare occurrence in which heavy rain poured.

Rainfall that was greater than 100 millimeters within twenty-four hours triggered floods in the seven emirates that had never been seen before. These floods had an effect on the roadways, residential areas, and fundamental infrastructure that were destroyed.
