Through these new decisions, the Ministry aims to protect workers working abroad, coinciding with the significant rise in temperatures during the noon hours.

The Ministry of Human Resources in the UAE stressed the need for employers to adhere to the new decision, which is scheduled to be officially implemented starting tomorrow, Saturday, June 15, 2024, as it completely prohibits workers from working under direct sunlight from 12:30 noon until 3:00 p.m.: 00 pm.
The Ministry added that this decision comes in implementation of the regulations for working during the afternoon hours in the UAE, explaining at the same time the implementation of huge financial fines against violators.
Financial fines of up to AED 50,000
The Ministry imposed huge financial fines on companies amounting to 5,000 dirhams for each worker who works during the afternoon. The Ministry also revealed fines amounting to 50,000 thousand dirhams in the event that there are more than one worker working during the hours of the midday holiday imposed by the Ministry of Human Resources in... Through these decisions, the Ministry of Human Resources in the UAE aims to provide a safe working environment for workers in the United Arab Emirates during the summer, specifically during the noon hours, during which temperatures are very high.
